It’s a beautiful thing when you realize that you blog has a draft function, and a private function, and a schedule posting function.

I haven’t been writing the things that I’ve wanted to write because I fear the consequences.  The words rattle around in my head and create stress and tension.

Once I figured out I could write and not post, I did.  I feel sooo much better.

Also, this blog is getting a makeover sometime soon.  Time to declutter!

One might say I’ve been a little distracted.

I’ve been all excited about my brother coming to visit for OU-Texas this weekend and hanging out all weekend.  I’ve been cleaning and prepping for his visit, making list and making sure I have everything available for a kick ass weekend.

I even left work early so I could do some grocery shopping and finish the housecleaning.

Then Irish says… you do know you’re playing Baylor this weekend, right?  And that the Texas game is NEXT weekend?

Sighs.  Apparently not.

Seems everyone was aware of the date except me.

We had a small taste of fall here in SWFL last week, and I fell in love with it all over again.  This week, summer has returned with a vengeance, and reminds me once again why there are such things as snowbirds.

My brother will be in town starting tomorrow for OU-Texas weekend.  He’s already planned our menu for the whole weekend, and we’ve got a few fun things planned besides the game (no trash talk this year, we just want to survive the game without looking like complete amateurs).

There will be fishing (not I) and probably a trip into town to see Zombieland, which we are all pretty excited about.  There will also be lots of Wii playing, since I expect the Wii Fit Plus disc (I don’t need the one with balance board since I bought the older version) to arrive today or tomorrow.

We’ll also try to Skype in our other two male siblings and their families for the football game so we can make a party of it.  Irish married into a family of mega-nerds.

In other news, I am currently researching an article for the folks over at I’ve Tried That.  I’ll be testing a new money making program and I will definitely link you over to it once the article is up.  In the meantime why don’t you read my blog post about things you can do right now to make money online that won’t cost you a cent!

I’ve got many more things to blog about including Facebook, Twitter, my magazine obsession, and exciting new career opportunities, so come back soon!
